It was crystal clear this afternoon looking up the coast. From here, we look directly up to where I was born: consciously or unconsciously I can't look at that view without faintly straining my eyes to see Matira.
Today I am feeling grateful for my work: that somehow seems to creep, roll or gallop in the door just when I need it. Anyone who is self-employed knows the mental roller-coaster of the life we've chosen... comprised principally of wondering when and where the next job is coming from.
I am very, very grateful for the jobs that are coming in my door. Among other things, they allow me sit and work my day looking at a view like this. More importantly, they give me freedom, the opportunity to chart my own path, choice.
Immensely grateful for that.
