The blue of our lunchtime flight over to the island contrasted with the orange of the sunset. The colours of the ingredients we have begun experimenting and cooking with this afternoon. Brilliant colour, as far as the eye can see.
Purple kumala (kumara or sweet potato) against the backdrop of the ocean - I've renamed it edible amethyst.
The ota (fern shoots) we got from the market on Saturday.
And lastly, our main course for dinner - opakapaka with yellow cassava cakes and vegetable gumbo.
