After the illness and energetically-dull last week, it was nice to capture this image today. Still a bit of a grey and rainy afternoon, but as Conor and I drove home we were driving right into the crest of a rainbow and had both ends of it either side of us. Rainbows have a special meaning for me since I completed my NLP Practitioner Training, and they became linked with one particular exercise we did, so these days I appreciate them even more than I used to.
It's so great to be back to full energy: now I'm in both the post-exhibition and post-Fiji space I have a list as long as my arm - all meaty jobs and next steps in the different aspects of my life.
There's nothing I like better than a good satisfying tick on a list, and it feels great to (a) get them all written down so they're out of my head and (b) make progress on some things that have been hanging around since Adam was the proverbial cowboy.
Writing that makes me realise it fascinates me how quickly our energy can change - last week I was feeling freezing cold and vaguely miserable as I settled back into normal life. Today I'm whistling through the to-do list and planning my next moves. Perhaps its the whole universe that has shifted, because there are several new projects on the horizon, one new client and another prospective one who has made contact. Ideas and opportunities - and great people - get me going even more than a to-do list.
I'll take the good energy and the bright lights of a rainbow with thanks! Here's to a good day.
