Put the lime in the coconut
It has been a day for coconuts and cooking... with moments in between each batch of photos downloading to be bewitched by the view. We've been creating in the kitchen, combining island style and flavours with contemporary techniques: trialling some variations on recipes and of course, sampling the results. Quality control - right?
On the list today have been croissants and traditional coconut buns made by Rusila, my cinnamon buns gone troppo with the addition of fresh coconut and island honey, and Colin's creation of a banana and coconut custard pie.
Then there were the fish tacos for lunch using more of the onaga (deep sea snapper) caught yesterday. I probably shouldn't bore you with what's for dinner.
Moments outside the kitchen included a swim and walking the island to capture some of the landscaping and tropical plants.
