Along with hundreds of others from our Raglan community, we attended the beautiful ANZAC Day service in Raglan today: held in the main street at the cenotaph. We especially remember Ian: on this, the first ANZAC Day since his passing. Like so many others, he was a young man who valiantly went to war for us all, in a uniform that now looks so small.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
May they rest in peace.
