So. It is done. It was a lovely last day at The Old School with lots of people through the gallery as they visited the Raglan Creative Market. After the crowds had gone, I quietly worked away at packing down the exhibition. I played my songs one last time in the space as I took down the final few rows.
Conor saw the market listed in my phone's calendar tonight - he could read Raglan and Market but had to ask me what the middle word was. He said "Well. THAT'S a good word." To which I replied, "Yes. Yes it is. It's one of the best words I know. One of the best words in the whole wide world."
I think my job here is done.
Thank you to all of the people who have supported me with this exhibition - especially those of you who bought pieces of my work. I head to Wellington tomorrow, but after that I will be packaging them up and delivering them to you all.
I am going to look around for some other galleries that might be interested in hanging 365 Degrees. If you have a gallery near you that you think might be suitable, I'd love you to drop me a line!
Night all. This creative type is a bit tuckered out and is off for some zzz's.
