Over to Buddha
Battening the hatches at the bach (a Kiwi term for holiday house or cabin) this morning, in anticipation of the cyclone. So far, we've had wind and drizzle - nothing too serious - but all the weather warnings are out. There are leaves and branches everywhere, but we're kind of used to that living in the wild west. The rain is feather-light - a perfect start to breaking the drought. I'd be happy if it rained like this for a week.
I left Buddha in charge at the bach.
