Keeping it real
Working in Hamilton today: this is a tiny part of the huge mural covering one wall in our office. Done by a local street art collective, it tells the story of the business. We're just about to head into one of the biggest months in our history, so there won't be much laying about in deck chairs for a while (not that there ever is). My favourite bit of the image is the 'real cloud': if I was a person prone to policies, keeping it real would be one of them.
Amidst the flurry of the day, there were a few other moments: picking up sample images for the exhibition, looking forward all day to singing tonight - it's been weeks since our group got together and I have been missing it. Now after two hours singing the voice is a bit had-it, but it was so fantastic to be back singing with everyone again. And they're going to sing at my opening!
