We flew to Kaibu today... and despite some rain, this place is so beautiful you can't help but be reminded how lucky you are to visit it. We spent the hour's flight above the cloud, just dropping through it at the last minute to see the islands below.
After we arrived, we had lunch together: beautiful fresh prawns farmed on a nearby island with amazing organic salad and local veges grown in Kaibu's own gardens.
Kaibu isn't just about the big and beautiful land and ocean. It's about thoughtfully planned, carefully crafted, and meticulously implemented details too.
It wasn't long before I needed to head onto the beach and into the water. It felt so good to be grounded here in the sand. These toes feel very blessed to be back here.
