The 19th of January already, and so much to catch up on here. Life kinda got away on me at the end of the year - more on that later perhaps as I figure out how to catch up with the happenings of the last month.
In the meantime, katherineparrott.com has officially been announced to the world and as a few people may be beginning to drop by, I figure I may as well pick up the conversation again from where I am. Which means today's photographs.
As it's summer and the holidays, we've been spending lots of time bachside - and the swing (along with a hot shower - talk about change my life) have been the new additions to the ever-evolving bachside experience.
I've photographed Conor once already on the swing, but wasn't entirely happy with the results, so today was another attempt. Still not entirely happy (actual image yet to match the image I have in my head) but I knew the light shining through the plane tree leaves would look good.
I will just say that trying to push Conor on the swing at the same time as taking his picture is a bit of a challenge. Feet met camera at one point as I completely lose my sense of distance when I'm looking through the viewfinder at a moving object! Luckily no damage to either party - okay, I confess I knew Conor would be fine, it was the camera I was worried about!
Project 365 is closing rapidly - today is day 303 and I can feel the urgency mounting to get the exhibition details arranged now that I'm past day 300. Decisions are half-made and details are half-sorted. This Libran needs to get organised as doing things by halves is not my style!
